Is there any soap who does it better than NBC’s Days of our Lives? Every year during the annual “Day of Days” fan event for Days of our Lives, the show releases a spoiler heavy trailer teasing what is to come in the immediate days, weeks and months heading into the new year. With the much-anticipated time-jump in full effect at the conclusion of the November 8 episode, fans had no idea what to expect this year.

Days of our Lives jumps forward a year into the future where nothing is the same and everyone’s lives have changed. The winter sneak peek released had a little something for everyone, featuring every character presently residing in Salem, USA – in 2020 that is. The show previewed returns, new couples and asks the big question fans all want to know – what happened to our Salem faves during the time jump? Tables will be turned, romances will be forged and a major fan favorite return will change everything!

Scream: Resurrection will serve as a reboot for the series and feature the return of the iconic Ghostface mask from the films and original voice actor, Roger Jackson.

Season 3 revolves around Deion Elliot (RJ Cyler), a local star running back whose tragic past comes back to haunt him at the worst time, threatening his hard-earned plans for his future — and the lives of his unlikely group of friends. Additional cast members include Mary J. Blige, Tyga, Keke Palmer, and Tyler Posey.

The series is executive produced by Queen Latifah, Shakim Compere and Yaneley Arty for Flavor Unit Entertainment. Brett Matthews (Vampire Diaries, Supernatural) will serve as Showrunner and Executive Producer. Additional Executive Producers are Wes Craven, Tony DiSanto, Liz Gateley, Marianne Maddalena, and Cathy Konrad. Matthew Signer & Keith Levine are Producers. And, when a supernatural presence begins to haunt Nancy’s investigation, she discovers that the current crime has an astonishing connection to the unsolved murder of a local girl.

Whether the ghost is here to help, or hinder Nancy remains to be seen, but one thing’s for sure: Nancy’s going to have to unravel the clues from both the living and the dead to solve the crimes.

The series introduces Nicholas (Josh Thomas), a neurotic 25-year-old visiting his single dad and two teenage half-sisters, one of whom is on the autism spectrum. He hasn’t been particularly present in his siblings’ lives, but when their dad reveals that he is terminally ill, the girls have to cope with not only a devastating loss but also the realization that Nicholas is the one who will have to rise to the occasion, move in and hold it all together.

Thomas created, stars, writes and will serve as showrunner of the comedy series, coming soon to Freeform. Stephanie Swedlove and Kevin Whyte also serve as executive producers, with David Martin, Jon Thoday, and Richard Allen-Turner executive producing for Avalon Television. The series will also star Kayla Cromer, Maeve Press and Adam Faison.

FACE YOUR DEMONS – The tagline for this season had fans speculating on what kind of drama we would expect going forward. With a silhouetted Clarke facing off with herself, the released keyart for the season actually previewed a lot more than we expected!

Now, this is not going to be a scene by scene breakdown and theory on the trailer, I’ll save that for our The 100 expert Heather Mason (@Heatherina159). But I do have a lot of feelings and questions and things that haven’t quite been fully formed yet. After you watch, I hope I’m not alone in feeling as such.
