Apple TV+ has renewed The Studio for a second season. Seth Rogen stars as Matt Remick, the newly appointed head of embattled Continental Studios. As movies struggle to stay alive and relevant, Matt and his core team of infighting executives battle their insecurities as they wrangle narcissistic artists and craven corporate overlords in the ever-elusive pursuit of making great films. With their power suits masking their never-ending sense of panic, every party, set visit, casting decision, marketing meeting and award show presents them with an opportunity for glittering success or career-ending catastrophe. As someone who eats, sleeps and breathes movies, it’s the job Matt’s been pursuing his whole life, and it may very well destroy him. 

Dept. Q premieres May 29 on Netflix. DCI Carl Morck is a brilliant cop but a terrible colleague. His razor-sharp sarcasm has made him no friends in Edinburgh police. After a shooting that leaves a young pc dead, and his partner paralysed, he finds himself exiled to the basement and the sole member of Department Q; a newly formed cold case unit. The department is a PR stunt, there to distract the public from the failures of an under-resourced, failing police force that is glad to see the back of him. But more by accident than design, Carl starts to build a gang of waifs and strays who have everything to prove. So, when the stone-cold trail of a prominent civil servant who disappeared several years ago starts to heat up, Carl is back doing what he does best – rattling cages and refusing to take no for an answer. 

Season seven of Love Island USA premieres June 3 on Peacock. Ariana Madix returns as host with fan favorite comedian Iain Stirling reprising his role as the iconic narrator. The season will introduce a brand new roster of singles, new additions to the vibrant Fiji villa, and the return of the infamous Casa Amor. Temptations will rise and drama will ensue as Islanders face brand new couples’ challenges, jaw-dropping twists and turns, and even a few surprise guests. Once again, viewers will be able to vote for their favorite couples via the Love Island USA app to determine which Islanders will recouple, who will remain in the villa, and who goes home heartbroken. 

Apple TV+ has renewed Trying for season five. The new season finds Nikki and Jason dealing with the consequences of Princess and Tyler’s biological mother Kat turning up at their doorstep, and the whirlwind of chaos she brings into their settled family life. 

Constance Marie, David Strathairn, Gary Cole, Jason Mantzoukas, Jill Talley, Linda Park, Lisa Gilroy, Madison Hu, Max Greenfield, Michaela Conlin and Sam Huntington have been cast in the upcoming second season of A Man on The Inside. The cast join previously announced Mary Steenburgen. The new season will see Charles, played by Ted Danson, going undercover at a college. 

The fourth and final season of Acapulco premieres July 23 on Apple TV+. In the new season, present-day Máximo works tirelessly to restore Las Colinas to its former glory before the grand reopening. In 1986, when a competitor claims the number one spot in the annual ranking of Acapulco’s “Best Hotels,” young Máximo will do whatever it takes to get back on top and secure Las Colinas’s future. 

Juliana Martinez and Octavio Pisano will be leaving Law & Order: SVU. The NBC series has yet to be renewed for a 27th season, but it is likely to happen. Martinez joined the series this season while Pisano has been with the series since season 23. 

New seasons of The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch and Beyond Skinwalker Ranch premiere June 3 on The History Channel. The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch kicks off with a bang as the investigation heightens and the team finds itself surrounded by a shocking phenomenon. Join ranch owner Brandon Fugal, principal investigator and chief scientist Erik Bard, aerospace engineer, astrophysicist, and lead scientist Dr. Travis Taylor, and the team as they continue to seek answers for what’s going on at this 512-acre Utah property. The new season of Beyond Skinwalker Ranch joins ex-CIA agent Andrew Bustamante and investigative journalist Paul Beban as they visit the notorious energy hotspot of Mt. Shasta in Northern California and discovering the outrageous lore surrounding the mountain is justified by hard data. Skinwalker Ranch isn’t the only location with strange things happening…

Miniseries The Final Problem, based on the bestselling novel of the same name by acclaimed Spanish author Arturo Pérez-Reverte, is coming soon to Netflix. In the spring of 1959, thirteen people were stuck by a violent storm on a small islet near Mallorca. Any of them could anticipate what is about to happen at the small hotel where they’re staying: Elisa Mander, a discreet British tourist, is found dead. What initially seems like a suicide soon raises unsettling signs – it may in fact be murder. Marvel’s Iron Man and His Awesome Friends assembles Tony Hale, Vanessa Bayer and Talon Warburton to voice villains Ultron, Swarm and Absorbing Man. The series, which features young versions of Tony Stark (Iron Man), Riri Williams (Ironheart) and Amadeus Cho (Iron Hulk), premieres this summer on Disney Jr. and Disney+ and is the first Iron Man preschool series. In order to help them save the day, the Iron Friends each have their own Iron Suits that allow them to fly and give them enhanced super-strength. 

Brandy and Rita Ora will reprise their roles of Cinderella and the Queen of Hearts, respectively, in the fifth installment of the smash hit Disney Channel Original Movie Descendants franchise, officially titled Descendants: Wicked Wonderland. Also returning are Paolo Montalban as King Charming and Melanie Paxson as Fairy Godmother, making her the only actor to appear in all five Descendants films. The installment will premiere in 2026. 

TNT Sports has announced its full broadcast team for the inaugural NASCAR in-season challenge. The TNT broadcast booth will feature NASCAR icon Dale Earnhardt Jr., Daytona 500-winning crew chief Steve Letarte and veteran motorsports commentator Adam Alexander. NASCAR Nation pre- and post-race shows on TNT will be hosted by Shannon Spake with analysts Jamie McMurray and Parker Kligerman. Pit reporters Marty Snider, Danielle Trotta and Alan Cavanna will contribute to full five-week slate with Mamba Smith to be the B/R Racing correspondent and on-air contributor. truTV’s weekly NASCAR In-Season Challenge altcast will feature Jeff Burton and Larry McReynolds. 

ABC News announced today special, comprehensive coverage of the papal conclave and installation of the new pope led by World News Tonight anchor and managing editor David Muir from the Vatican beginning Wednesday, May 7, at 10 a.m. EDT. Muir will be joined by ABC News Live Prime and World News Tonight Sunday anchor Linsey Davis, chief international correspondent James Longman, senior national correspondent Terry Moran, foreign correspondent Maggie Rulli, reporters Ines de La Cuetara and Patrick Revell, WABC-TV Eyewitness News anchor Joe Torres, WLS-TV Eyewitness News reporter Liz Nagy, and contributors Father Jim Martin, Father John Wauck and Helen Alvaré. ABC News will broadcast all voting session smoke releases until a new pope is announced. David Muir will anchor World News Tonight from the Vatican, beginning Tuesday, May 6. Good Morning America and GMA3 will have live reports from the Vatican each morning, delivering full team coverage and the latest breaking news as it unfolds. The View will discuss in Hot Topics. Nightline will air dedicated segments about the election process and the papal conclave. ABC News Live will provide coverage throughout the day on Wednesday with regular, live updates from James Longman and Terry Moran. Linsey Davis will anchor the Prime broadcast from Rome beginning Tuesday, May 6. ABC Owned Television Stations will have comprehensive coverage of the conclave with Joe Torres and Liz Nagy on the ground in Rome.ABC News Digital will have a dedicated live blog, plus additional breakout stories, including a profile of the new pope and a look at the pageantry surrounding the ceremonies. ABC News Radio will track the papal selection process and feature special reports during significant developments such as sightings of smoke and the announcement of a new pope. “Start Here,” the flagship daily news podcast from ABC News hosted by Brad Mielke, will preview the conclave on Wednesday with a segment outlining conclave traditions and protocols, and share daily updates from conclave proceedings. 

Sarah Silverman: PostMortem premieres May 20 on Netflix. Following the recent death of both of her parents, comedian Sarah Silverman finds comedy in the darkest corners of life. She hilariously navigates the absurdities of death with her signature wit, from unexpectedly finding the “deal of a lifetime” while planning their funerals to cherishing the bittersweet experience of hearing her mother’s last words. The special was filmed at The Beacon Theater in NYC. 

Mystery thriller We Were Liars premieres June 18 on Prime Video with all eight episodes. Based on the novel by E. Lockhart, the series follows Cadence Sinclair Eastman and her tight-knit inner circle, nicknamed the Liars, during their summer escapades on her grandfather’s New England private island. The Sinclairs are American royalty – known for their good looks, old money, and enviable bond – but after a mysterious accident changes Cadence’s life forever, everyone, including her beloved Liars, seems to have something to hide. 

The English dub of 2.5 Dimensional Seduction premieres May 7 on HIDIVE. Okumura, the otaku president of his school’s manga club, has absolutely no interest in real girls and prefers the sexy fictional 2D manga character, Liliel. However, when the new school year begins, he discovers the club has a new member: Ririsa. She not only has a passion for cosplay but considers Liliel her favorite character. They quickly bond and when Ririsa convinces Okumura to be her photographer, the line between 2D and 3D blur. 

Acorn TV has officially launched its first annual Murder Mystery May, hosted by actress D’Arcy Carden. The month-long event showcasing the best in international murder mysteries and crime dramas features a wide range of mystery content including all-new series, new episodes of long-running fan favorites and a slew of thriller and mystery films. Carden, brings her signature blend of sharp wit and theatrical flair as “Murder Mystery” Mae, the first-ever host on Acorn TV. With her impeccable comic timing and versatile character work, D’Arcy offers viewers the perfect balance of charm and deadpan humor to navigate this curated collection of whodunits and thrillers for the inaugural Murder Mystery May event via pointed commentary, interstitials and social-forward content. TMZ Investigates: What Happened to Justin Bieber? premieres May 14 on Fox. TMZ investigates Justin Bieber’s troubling behavior that has fans concerned. TMZ explores allegations of Bieber’s drug use, his marriage, financial collapse, as well as his ties to a controversial church. It examines a power struggle fueled by money, loyalty, religion and accusations of betrayal that are the center of a feud between Bieber and the person responsible for his meteoric rise – his former manager Scooter Braun. NBC Sports will use an AI-generated voice of former narrator Jim Fagan for elements of its NBA coverage and promotion when its new NBA media rights agreement begins in October. The voice of Fagan, who passed away in 2017, was synonymous with NBC Sports’ critically acclaimed coverage of the NBA from 1990-2002. His masterful narration drove unparalleled excitement for the league’s biggest matchups and stars. Through a partnership with Fagan’s family, NBC Sports will use AI voice synthesis technology to re-create Fagan’s voice for select title sequences, show opens, and promos for its upcoming NBA coverage.

CBS has canceled The Equalizer after five seasons. Robyn McCall, an enigmatic woman with a mysterious background, uses her extensive skills to help those with nowhere else to turn. McCall comes across to most as an average single mom who is quietly raising her teenage daughter. But to a trusted few, she is “The Equalizer” — an anonymous guardian angel and defender of the downtrodden, who’s also dogged in her pursuit of personal redemption.

Alice Halsey will play Laura Ingalls in Netflix’s Little House on the Prairie. Also cast in the series are Luke Bracey as Charles Ingalls, Crosby Fitzgerald as Caroline Ingalls, and Skywalker Hughes as Mary Ingalls. Part hopeful family drama, part epic survival tale, and part origin story of the American West, this fresh adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s iconic semi-autobiographical Little House books offers a kaleidoscopic view of the struggles and triumphs of those who shaped the frontier. 

Quinta Brunson is set to host Saturday Night Live May 3. Benson Boone will serve as musical guest on the late night NBC series. 

Season five of The Chosen premieres June 15 on Prime Video. Production Is currently underway on the penultimate sixth season. The first two episodes will premiere on June 15, followed by three episodes on June 22 and the last three episodes on June 29. The season follows Jesus’ triumph to treachery as his final days unfold in a story that changed the world. Welcomed as a king into Jerusalem, he boldly confronts the corrupt merchants, sparking a chain of events that shakes the city. Rachael Ray’s Meals in Minutes returns for season three with back-to-back episodes May 26 followed by back-to-back episodes of Global Soul Kitchen season two on FYI. On Meals in Minutes, viewers join Rachael in her kitchen where she demonstrates her creativity and flair while creating a complete meal in minutes. This season features dishes from comfort food to sophisticated entertaining fare including lamb and beef chorizo chili, Italian brisket, shrimp salad stuffed shells, and white bean soup. Global Soul Kitchen joins chef and best-selling author Deborah VanTrece in the kitchen as she brings more twists to her “global soul food” style of cooking, combining traditional Southern American dishes with influences from across the globe. In each half hour episode, VanTrece brings together bold flavors and unique inspirations to create memorable and delicious one-of-a-kind dishes. With recipes this season from Jamaican beef pot pie and black-eyed pea biryani to adobo ribs and duck schnitzel with sweet potato waffles, VanTrece whips up meals that are both familiar and unique. 

PBS has announced premiere dates for two Masterpiece Mystery! series. Season two of Marlow and season six of Unforgotten will premiere August 24. 

ESPN, which has presented the WNBA since the league’s inception in 1997, will once again feature a full slate of regular season games presented by Google during its 29th season, in addition to being the exclusive home of the entire WNBA postseason. Extensive coverage begins Sunday, May 4 when ESPN’s coverage of the WNBA’s 2025 preseason Presented By State Farm action tips off with the Indiana Fever, featuring Caitlin Clark, the University of Iowa alum who was selected to the All-WNBA First Team as a rookie last year, as she leads the Fever into Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City to face the Brazil Women’s National Team on ESPN at 4 p.m. ET. ESPN’s game telecasts will feature two commentator teams. Play-by-play voice Ryan Ruocco and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famers Rebecca Lobo and Holly Rowe return for their 13th season together as ESPN’s lead WNBA broadcast team. The trio will call marquee matchups throughout the season and will call the WNBA Finals. ESPN’s second commentator team will feature veteran women’s basketball play-by-play voice Pam Ward, LaChina Robinson who brings her expertise back to the game analyst role, and Angel Gray who will be in the sideline reporter role as well as in the play-by-play role at times throughout the season.

Season two of docuseries Dirt, Dirt II: A Season With High Limit, premieres May 6 on FS1. Disney released the first single and music video of “The Place to Be” from the upcoming highly anticipated Disney Channel Original Movie Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires. The music video is available today on DisneyMusicVevo and Disney Channel Music YouTube. The single is also available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and other digital platforms. The latest installment of the music-fueled Zombies franchise premieres July 10, at 7 p.m. EDT/PDT on Disney Channel and streams the next day, July 11, on Disney+.

ABC has renewed five series for the upcoming 2025-2026 season. Returning are 9-1-1, Grey’s Anatomy, The Rookie, Shifting Gears, and Will Trent. Still on the bubble is Doctor Odyssey.

Nine new strangers connected in ways they could never imagine are invited by mysterious guru Masha Dmitrichenko to join a transformational wellness retreat in the Austrian Alps. Over the course of a week, she takes them to the brink. Will they make it? Will she? Masha is willing to try anything in the interest of healing everyone involved, including herself. The series stars Nicole Kidman, Henry Golding, Lena Olin, Annie Murphy, Christine Baranski, Lucas Englander, King Princess, Murray Bartlett, Dolly de Leon, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Mark Strong and Aras Aydin.

Season two of FUBAR premieres June 12 on Netflix. Luke Brunner is a veteran CIA operative who, up until recently, was on the verge of retirement. Phineas and Ferb returns June 5 on Disney Channel. The first 10 episodes of the season will premiere on Disney+ June 6. In the new season, Phineas, Ferb and the crew tackle another 104 days of summer and are set for exciting new adventures featuring some unforgettable milestones. The boys will break several world records, Candace will take her driver’s license test, and Perry will finally make a trip to the vet! 

Nominations for Crunchyroll’s Anime Awards have been announced. The leading yearly awards program honoring the creators, musicians, and performances powering the global love of anime will return to Tokyo, Japan, on May 25, 2025. Brazilian drag pop icon and musician Pabllo Vittar will appear as a celebrity presenter, alongside voice actress and idol Sally Amaki and entertainer Jon Kabira, who will return as co-hosts.

Yes, Chef! premieres April 28 on NBC. José Andrés and Martha Stewart are inviting a crop of skilled chefs from all over the country to join them on NBC’s new competition series. From big egos and hot tempers to confidence issues, these chefs have all been nominated by colleagues and loved ones who are hoping this competition will soften their sharp edges and help them reach their full potentials. The series blends the high-stakes thrill of a cooking competition with the raw emotion of personal transformation as it delves into the powerful personalities attracted to the chaotic culinary lifestyle. The series puts 12 highly skilled yet rebellious chefs, who have been nominated by their bosses, co-workers, friends and even family, through the ultimate test and challenges designed to push their pressure points.  

Sarah Silverman will return to Netflix with her new special PostMortem, premiering May 20. Following the recent death of both of her parents, comedian Sarah Silverman finds comedy in the darkest corners of life. She hilariously navigates the absurdities of death with her signature wit, from unexpectedly finding the “deal of a lifetime” while planning their funerals to cherishing the bittersweet experience of hearing her mother’s last words. The special was filmed at The Beacon Theater in NYC.  

Castle Impossible premieres April 29 on HGTV. High school sweethearts and married couple, Daphne Reckert and Ian Figueira, will abandon their plans of living in a California tiny home when Daphne inherits her late grandfather’s 500-year-old chateau on a 130-acre estate just outside of Paris, France. While the main floor of the sprawling property – which once welcomed guests like King Louis XIII – provides a steady income stream hosting weddings, the young couple will take on the incredibly daunting task of restoring the remaining dilapidated floors and buildings on the grounds, utilizing their carpentry, conservation and landscaping expertise, as well as their families’ backgrounds in construction, design and renovation. With passion, determination and grit, Daphne and Ian will confront budget constraints, battle bug infestations, hunt for rumored hidden treasure and tackle a seemingly endless list of projects head-on to breathe new life into the historic estate and preserve her grandfather’s legacy. 

HBO’s Like Water for Chocolate has begun filming its second season, which will continue to tell the story of love and struggle, rich in traditional flavors, set during the Mexican Revolution. The series is based on the novel by Laura Esquivel. 

CBS will air the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) for the first time, airing live from UBS Arena, Sunday, Sept. 7 (8:00-11:00 PM, ET/5:00-8:00 PM PT), and streaming on Paramount+. Three-hour CBS broadcast to simulcast on MTV; one-hour live pre-show to air across Paramount Media Networks. Nominations, performers and additional details will be announced closer to the show. 

Jack Black is set to host Saturday Night Live April 5. Elton John and Brandi Carlile will perform as musical guest on the late night NBC series. 

The Gardener premieres April 11 on Netflix. Elmer’s mother used his lack of feelings to turn him into a hitman. But when he falls for his next victim, their cover as calm local gardeners wavers.

Season three of Jane will premiere on Apple TV+ April 18. The mission-driven series for kids and families is inspired by the work of world-renowned ethologist and conservationist Dr. Jane Goodall, DBE, founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and a United Nations Messenger of Peace. Goodall will also make a special, first-time appearance in the upcoming season. Ava Louise Murchison stars as Jane Garcia, a 9-year-old budding environmentalist on a quest to save endangered animals. Using her powerful imagination, Jane takes her best friends David, played by Mason Blomberg and Greybeard the chimpanzee, on epic adventures to help protect wild animals all around the world because, according to her idol Dr. Jane Goodall: “Only if we understand, will we care. Heavenly Ever After premieres April 19 on Netflix. Every encounter – whether fleeting, painful, or profound – shapes the story of a life fully lived. Adult Swim will air its annual April Fools special event tonight at midnight. The annual tradition is often filled with special episodes, fake outs, and sometimes surprise series premieres. Season seven of anthology series Black Mirror premieres April 10 on Netflix. The titles of the six episodes have been announced. Titles include “Common People” (Rashida Jones, Chris O’Dowd and Tracee Ellis Ross), “Béte Noire” (Rosy McEwen and Siena Kelly), “Eulogy” (Paul Giamatti and Patsy Ferran), “Plaything” (Peter Capaldi and Lewis Gribben (+Will Poulter and Asim Chaudhry)), “Hotel Reverie” (Emma Corrin, Issa Rae and Awkwafina), and “USS Callister: Into Infinity” (Cristin Milioti and Jimmi Simpson). 

The Motherhood premieres May 5 on Hallmark Channel. Each of the six one-hour episodes follows Connie Britton, a single mother herself, as she connects with another single mother who is juggling the demands of work, parenting, and self-care. Over the course of a transformative week, Britton and three expert coaches (AKA The Neighbor Ladies) – DIY and home design specialist Angela Rose, positive parenting coach Destini Davis, and style expert Taryn Hicks – help the mom create a harmonious living space, implement effective parenting strategies and refresh her wardrobe. At the heart of the series is the lasting impact of these changes, as the women build a supportive community to continue uplifting each other long after the cameras stop rolling.

Anime series Medalist has been renewed for a second season. Tsukasa Akeuraji, a frustrated skater, meets Inori Yuitsuka, a girl who yearns to be a figure skater. Motivated by Inori’s obsession on the rink, Tsukasa begins coaching Inori. Inori’s talent blossoms, and Tsukasa becomes a brilliant mentor. Together they aim to make her a glorious medalist! The series streams on hulu. 

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place has been renewed for a second season. The series follows an adult Justin Russo, who has chosen to lead a normal, mortal life with his family, Giada, Roman and Milo. When Justin’s sister Alex brings Billie to his home seeking help, Justin realizes he must dust off his magical skills to mentor the wizard-in-training while also juggling his everyday responsibilities – and safeguarding the future of the Wizard World. It airs on Disney Channel and Disney+. 

Production on the third season of HBO’s House of the Dragon has begun. The series, set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen. Joining the series are Tommy Flanagan as Ser Roderick Dustin and Dan Fogler as Ser Torrhen Manderly. Previously announced new season three cast includes James Norton as Ormund Hightower. 

The third and final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty will premiere this July. The series is a multigenerational drama that hinges on a love triangle between one girl and two brothers, the ever-evolving relationship between mothers and their children, and the enduring power of strong female friendship. It is a coming-of-age story about first love, first heartbreak, and the magic of that one perfect summer. It is based on Jenny Han’s book trilogy. 

Britt Lower, Milo Ventimiglia, Logan Browning, and Erin Richards have been cast in Netflix’s upcoming Harlan Coben thriller series I Will Find You. They join previously announced Sam Worthington. The prison break thriller series is about an innocent father who while serving life for the murder of his own son receives evidence that his child may still be alive.

Nathan Fillion will appear in HBO’s Lanterns. Fillion will reprise his role as Guy Gardner which he will debut in the upcoming Superman film. 

Chief of War premieres August 1 on Apple TV+. Set amidst the beautiful backdrop of the islands of Hawai’i, the nine-episode series is based on true events and follows warrior Ka’iana, portrayed by Jason Momoa, as he tries to unify the islands before Western colonization in the late 18th century. The series is performed by a predominantly Polynesian cast. 

Shangri-La Frontier has been renewed for a third season. The anime series streams on Crunchyroll. 

The Love Is Blind: Sweden season two reunion will premiere April 3 on Netflix. Hosted by Jessica Almenäs, the reunion will reunite the cast for the first time since their “I do” or “I don’t”. They’ll reflect on their relationships, break down this season’s twists and turns, and unveil secrets that have unfolded since the experiment concluded. 

Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun will return for more episodes this July. The new episodes will be a continuation of the second season. The series streams on Crunchyroll. 

Bad Thoughts premieres May 13 on Netflix. In this six-episode series of dark and twisted comedy, Tom Segura brings his unfiltered musings to life within a cinematic world where nothing is as it seems. 

Shudder will mark its 10-year anniversary and a decade of the best in horror with its most terrifyingly ambitious programming slate to date, special fan events, customized merchandise and more. Shudder 10, which kicks off during the streamer’s annual “Halfway to Halloween” horror-thon, will also feature a nationwide screening tour, “Shudder 10 Screening Series,” featuring a curated selection of Shudder films.

The Eternaut premieres April 30 on Netflix. One summer’s night in Buenos Aires, a mysterious snowfall wipes out millions with only a touch, leaving the survivors all alone. Juan Salvo and his friends embark on a desperate struggle for survival. But everything changes when they discover that the deadly snow is only the first attack by a foreign army invading Earth. TMZ Presents: The Menendez Brothers: The Prison Interview premieres April 7 on Fox. The Menendez Brothers exclusively speak for the first time in decades for a joint interview with TMZ about their last chance for freedom and reveal what they’ll do with their lives if they’re released. TMZ also speaks with their lawyer, the detective who helped crack the case, an inmate they helped free, and family members about releasing the brothers back into society.

FX has renewed English Teacher for a ten episode second season, set to premiere in 2025. The series follows a high school teacher in Austin, Texas who often finds himself at the intersection of the personal, professional and political aspects of working at a high school. Over the first season, Evan navigates his relationships, his students and his fellow faculty and tries to answer the question: can you really be your full self at your job? 

Unconventional premieres February 11 on Revry. The series follows Noah and Margot, two queer siblings played by Kit Williamson and Aubrey Peeples, who are navigating their personal and professional ambitions in Los Angeles. Things take a turn when their estranged conservative father, played by Jeff Perry, re-enters their lives—forcing them into an unexpected collision of ideals, activism, and family dysfunction.

Kiff has been renewed for a third season ahead of its second season premiere March 15 on Disney Channel. In the second season, Kiff and bunny bestie Barry embark on adventures that take them deeper into their ever-eccentric community of Table Town, where animals and magical oddballs navigate life, school, relationships and the quirks of their offbeat and loveable universe. 

The English dub of Loner Life in Another World premieres February 12 on HIDIVE. After getting isekai’d into another world with his entire high school class, “God” offers Haruka and his peers their choice of special powers so they can become fantasy heroes. But Haruka accidentally missed the power selection period, and now he’s stuck with the leftover abilities his classmates refused to take! Seemingly underpowered, he makes use of his unwanted skills to live a (surprisingly comfortable) life as a lone wolf…but his classmates soon learn their “superior” abilities aren’t as great as they’re cracked up to be, and Haruka may have to come to their rescue using ingenuity, creativity, and the leftover powers his classmates once snubbed. 

Acorn TV has renewed My Life Is Murder for a fifth season. The new season sees eight thrilling new cases featuring dangerous villains that only Alexa Crowe can catch, but as always, she’s bringing her friends and family along for the ride. Tech guru Madison is stepping up and contributing her considerable technical skills to the investigations, while cafe owner Reuben is always there to lend a helping hand, and, shockingly, it turns out that Detective Harry has been hiding a rather big secret. Moreover, just to complicate things, Alexa’s bad boy brother Will drops by with a dilemma of his own. Additionally, in the series’ highest-stakes episode to date, Alexa’s beloved cat Chowder is caught up in a risky game of cat-and-mouse! 

Viral sensation and TikTok phenomenon Pinkydoll is stepping into the spotlight in a new way as she joins the cast of Love & Hip Hop: Miami. The midseason premiere of Season 6 airs February 10 on VH1. The season follows Pinkydoll as she takes her talents to the Magic City, trading viral moments for a shot at music industry superstardom. Determined to turn her social media fame into a lasting career, Pinkydoll faces the high-stakes challenges of Miami’s competitive entertainment scene. Adult Swim’s Toonami lineup will be making some changes starting February 22. Mashle: Magic and Muscles and Invincible Fight Girl will depart the lineup at 12 and 12:30 with FLCL: Grunge and another episode of Blue Exorcist taking their place. The remaining lineup from 1-3:30 of Blue Exorcist, One Piece, Dragon Ball Z Kai, Naruto and Sailor Moon will stay the same. 

ABC will not be airing a new season of The Bachelorette this summer. The series has not been cancelled and could return at a later point. This summer a new season of Bachelor in Paradise will air, which previously took a year off last year. 

Prime Video has canceled The Pradeeps Of Pittsburgh after one season. The series originally was set up at Amazon Freevee which was folded into Prime Video. 

In celebration of Black History Month, Nickelodeon will debut NFL Slimetime Presents Nickelodeon’s Game Changers, a brand-new special for kids and families that chronicles the journey and triumphs of contemporary Black quarterbacks in the National Football League. Hosted by Young Dylan, the half-hour special will explore their profound impact on the game, their communities, and the broader narrative of race and leadership in professional football. NFL Slimetime Presents Nickelodeon’s Game Changers will debut on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon, and be available to stream on Paramount+ and the Nickelodeon YouTube channel the next day. It will highlight the personal stories of iconic athletes, including: Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, and Jayden Daniels, along with legendary quarterbacks Doug Williams and Randall Cunningham. Through exclusive interviews, archival footage and behind-the-scenes moments, the show will celebrate the cultural icons writing living history and will honor the trailblazers who have paved the way for future generations. Leading into the special, Nickelodeon will premiere a brand-new episode of Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan titled “Red Tails,” on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT). In this episode, Dylan overcomes his fear of flying with inspiration from the Tuskegee Airmen and a dream, ultimately leading his family on an exciting plane trip. 

When Life Gives You Tangerines premieres March 7 on Netflix. The series follows the adventures of Ae-sun, “the remarkable rebel,” and Gwan-sik, nicknamed “unyielding iron,” through four vibrant seasons on Jeju Island.

All episodes of Between Walls premiere February 12 on hulu. Marga and Martín happen to meet on a dating app, unaware they are neighbors. Although they have an instant connection, they decide not to pursue their romance following the unsaid rule: “one should never date one’s neighbor.” However, over time, these two will find it hard to hide their feelings behind the wall that keeps them apart.

Season two of Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up premieres March 10 on Lifetime. It will follow Gypsy’s emotionally charged journey as she navigates her newfound freedom, rebuilds relationships, handles pregnancy and new motherhood, all while remaining on parole. After recently filing for divorce from Ryan Anderson, Gypsy is ready to embrace a new chapter. As she rekindles her romance with ex-fiancé Ken Urker, the couple faces the challenges of restarting their relationship amidst intense public scrutiny. With a new baby girl, Gypsy is eager to embrace her role as a mother while grappling with the realities of life outside of incarceration. As the series unfolds, viewers will witness Gypsy’s struggles with the constraints of living on parole, the challenges of becoming a mom after enduring years of abuse from her own mother and the journey toward self-discovery as she seeks to create a better life for herself and her daughter. A special titled Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up: The Unseen Footage will air ahead of the season premiere. Blanchard looks back on her first year of freedom through never-before-seen footage and faces up to the events of the past year with her eye towards her future. 

A Cruel Love: The Ruth Ellis Story premieres February 17 on BritBox. It is a compelling true crime drama telling the hidden story of Ruth Ellis and exposing the timeless British obsessions of class, sex and death. Set in 1955 in the glamorous and intoxicating world of London club-land, Ruth found acclaim, aged 28, as the capital’s youngest club manager. But her success soon unravelled as she became entwined in an abusive relationship with racing driver David Blakely. On trial for his murder, Ruth was condemned to die by a system which judged her for far more than her crime. It is based on Carol Ann Lee’s acclaimed biography, “A Fine Day for Hanging: The Real Ruth Ellis Story.” 

Season two of Ishura will premiere on hulu January 8. The series will be released weekly in both English subtitles and English dub. The battle to crown the ultimate Hero begins after the Demon King’s defeat.

The new season of Celebrity IOU premieres February 3 on HGTV. An anime adaptation of the video game series Ghost of Tsushima is coming to Crunchyroll in 2027. It is inspired by Japanese folktales and mythology. More details, including the creative team and cast, will be revealed in the future. The announcement was made as part of Sony Group Corporation’s CES (Consumer Electronics Show) press conference in Las Vegas.

Season two of Have I Got News For You premieres February 15 on CNN. The American version of the long-running UK comedy series is hosted by Roy Wood Jr. along with team captains Amber Ruffin and Michael Ian Black. Always relevant and topical, the series serves up a smart and edgy take on the news of the week, as the comic trio led by host by Wood Jr. guides a rotating collection of guests through an array of comic games and quick-witted panel conversations that test their knowledge of current events. 

Anthology series Unspeakable: The Murder of Jonbenet Ramsey starring Melissa McCarthy and Clive Owen as Patsy and John Bennett Ramsey is coming soon to Paramount+. Season six of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir premieres January 25 on Disney Channel. A seventh season will premiere in 2026. 

Nickelodeon and CBS Sports’s special Slime-filled alternate telecast during the NFL’s Wild Card Weekend will feature the Los Angeles Chargers taking on the Houston Texans during Nickelodeon’s NFL Wild Card Game Live from Bikini Bottom on Saturday, Jan. 11, at 4:30 PM (ET). The special presentation will transport viewers back to SpongeBob SquarePants’ colorful undersea home with enhanced Nick-ified graphics, advanced augmented reality and appearances by fan-favorite characters featured across Paramount’s portfolio. ESPN announced an update to its 2024-25 NBA regular-season schedule. On Friday, January 17, the San Antonio Spurs and Victor Wembanyama will host the Memphis Grizzlies and Ja Morant at 9:30 p.m. ET on ESPN Presented by State Farm. This matchup replaces the previously scheduled Charlotte Hornets vs. Chicago Bulls game. 

ESPN and the Big Sky Conference have announced a five-year extension to their current media rights agreement, which doubles its televised coverage for football and provides a continued platform for the more than 600 Big Sky Conference live events streaming annually on ESPN+ and the ESPN App. The new media rights agreement with ESPN will begin in the 2025-26 academic year and go through 2029-30. 

Japanese comics – or manga, the source material for many beloved anime series – will become even more accessible in North America as Crunchyroll announced a new app, Crunchyroll Manga, for fans to enjoy digital manga as part of a new premium option for Crunchyroll members. It will launch later this year as a standalone app on iOS and Android, debuting in the U.S. and Canada.

Now they’re stuck for three months on a wild tropical island with mind-reading manatees, giant fighting fungi and fashion-forward mutants ― less academia than they’d hoped for but a lot more adventure. The series will also premiere on Disney+ in Spring. 

Abbott Elementary returns January 8 on ABC. The episode will feature a crossover with FX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. The second part of the crossover will take place on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia when it returns on FXX this year. 

Limited series American Primeval premieres on Netflix January 9. This is America… 1857. Up is down, pain is everywhere, innocence and tranquility are losing the battle to hatred and fear. Peace is the shrinking minority, and very few possess grace – even fewer know compassion. There is no safe haven in these brutal lands, and only one goal matters: survival. It is a fictionalized dramatization and examination of the violent collision of culture, religion, and community as men and women fight and die to keep or control this land.

To celebrate the new year, Peacock is gifting faithful fans of The Traitors with the first 7 minutes of season 3’s first episode, which is now available to stream exclusively on Peacock. The series hosted by Alan Cumming returns January 9 with the first three episodes. 

Peacock has canceled In the Know after one season. Lauren Caspian is NPR’s third most popular host. He’s a well-meaning, hypocritical nimrod, just like you and me. He’s also a stop motion puppet. Each episode follows the making of an episode of Lauren’s show In the Know, in which Lauren conducts in-depth interviews with real world human guests. Lauren collaborates with a diverse crew of NPR staff. They are also puppets and nimrods.

However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and those who try to find out face fatal consequences. Season two of 1923 premieres February 23 on Paramount+. A cruel winter brings new challenges and unfinished business to Jacob and Cara back at Dutton ranch. With harsh conditions and adversaries threatening to end the Dutton legacy, Spencer embarks on an arduous journey home, racing against time to save his family in Montana. Meanwhile, Alexandra sets off on her own harrowing trans-Atlantic journey to find Spencer and reclaim their love. 

Netflix has renewed A Man on the Inside starring Ted Danson for a second season. Charles, a retired man, gets a new lease on life when he answers an ad from a PI and becomes a mole in a secret investigation. From creator Mike Schur, the series is based on the documentary “The Mole Agent.”

Malcolm in the Middle will return for a four episode limited series on Disney+. The new episodes will see the return of original cast members Frankie Muniz as Malcolm, Bryan Cranston as Hal, and Jane Kaczmarek as Lois. The original series saw young genius Malcolm trying to navigate life with his quirky, often difficult family. In these brand-new episodes, Malcolm and his daughter are drawn into the family’s chaos when Hal and Lois demand his presence for their 40th wedding anniversary party.

Season three of The Way Home will now premiere on Hallmark Channel January 3. Episodes will now stream on Hallmark+ the following day. The series was initially set to premiere on Hallmark+ before its linear premiere later in 2025. 

OWN has renewed Belle Collective. Tambra Cheri, Marie Hamilton-Abston, Aikisha Holly-Colon, Lateshia Pearson, Latrice Rogers, Sophia O. The Boyfriend has been renewed for a second season on Netflix. The Japanese gay dating series sees a group of men living under one roof and run a coffee truck together to connect and hopefully meet their one true boyfriend over the course of a month.

Season three of Coach Prime premieres January 7 on Prime Video. Travis Hunter is one of one. 

Netflix has ordered Man vs. Baby to series. Rowan Atkinson will star in the series. 

Dinner With The Parents has been canceled after one season. The Amazon Freevee series was a remake of the popular British series. 

Syndicated talk show The Kelly Clarkson Show has been renewed for a seventh season. The renewal will bring the series hosted by Kelly Clarkson into 2026. 

Kristen Bell is set as the host of the Screen Actors Guild Awards. The SAG Awards will air February 23 on Netflix live from Los Angeles. Bell has previously hosted the awards ceremony back in 2018.

Sci-fi animated series Messi and the Giants is coming soon to Disney Channel. The action-adventure series follows Leo, an ordinary 12-year-old boy with an extraordinary talent and a huge problem. The once-thriving world of Iko is in tatters at the mercy of the Giants who rule the 10 realms. Only one hero can save them … and he’s the size of a flea. Young Leo is plucked from another world to lead the fight against the tyrannical villains who have kept the 10 realms under their control. 

Dexter: Resurrection will premiere on Paramount+ with Showtime Summer 2025. Michael C. Hall will return as Dexter Morgan. 

Deal or No Deal Island After Show with Boston Rob will premiere January 8 on Peacock, NBC’s YouTube Channel and NBC.com with new episodes every Wednesday following new episodes of Deal or No Deal Island. It will be hosted by Season 1 islander and reality competition all-star “Boston” Rob Mariano. Each week Rob will sit down with eliminated players to break down gameplay, talk drama on the island and share never-before-seen footage from the show. 

Impractical Jokers returns January 9 on TBS. New episodes also feature celebrity guest appearances from TikTok star Jax, AEW’s John Silver, SNL’s Colin Jost, and Peloton instructor Ally Love. Three comedians and lifelong friends compete to embarrass each other amongst the general public with a series of hilarious and outrageous dares. When Sal, Q, and Murr challenge each other to say or do something, they have to do it… if they refuse, they lose! At the end of every episode, the episode’s loser must endure a punishment of epic proportions. 

Whiskey on the Rocks premieres January 22 on hulu. The series is a playful take on what truly happened during the dramatic days at the turn of the month between October and November 1981, when the Soviet submarine U-137 ran aground in the Karlskrona archipelago. Never before has the world been closer to full-scale global conflict and all responsibility now rests on the shoulders of one man, Sweden’s Prime Minister Thorbjörn Fälldin. 

A&E is set to launch three new original series that delve into various facets of law enforcement, enhancing its lineup of crime and investigative programming. Kicking off the slate is Homicide Squad New Orleans, which follows a dedicated team of homicide detectives within the New Orleans Police Department, premiering on January 1. Next, Fugitive Hunters Mexico brings viewers along as an elite Mexican task force pursues American fugitives hiding south of the border, debuting on January 2. Finally, Ozark Law premieres on January 8, following two small police departments working to maintain order around Missouri’s Lake of the Ozarks during the height of their tourist season.

A Carpool Karaoke Christmas is now streaming on Apple TV+. Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa and Chappell Roan each join Zane Lowe as he jumps into the driver’s seat joining the singers in singing along to Christmas classics, including “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and Wham!’s “Last Christmas,” along with their signature songs, such as Lady Gaga’s chart-topping “Die With A Smile,” Dua Lipa’s number one hit “Houdini” and Chappell Roan’s breakout hit “Good Luck, Babe!” As a holiday treat, Zane Lowe and Lady Gaga also debut a special version of “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town” on Apple Music and all major music platforms.
